Hello! I am Yukiko Izumi.
I am a Japanese muralist and graphic designer based in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. My passion lies in making art more accessible for locals to enjoy, while also beautifying and revitalizing the neighborhood, and encouraging crime prevention through my work. Also as an immigrant, I believe visual art has the power to build bridges between cultures and overcome language barriers.
While my roots are firmly planted in New York, I am deeply committed to expanding my creative reach internationally, eagerly seeking opportunities to bring my work to communities around the globe.

現在はニューヨークでのプロジェクトに留まらず、自身のルーツや経験を活かし、世界各地で新たな表現に挑戦することにも意欲的に取り組んでいます。
私の作品は、日本のデザイン特有の「シンプルさ」を大切にしており、見る人や周囲の環境に明るさと新鮮さをもたらす色彩を特徴としています。これまで制作した壁画の多くは、サンセット・パーク内のコミュニティや団体、ローカルビジネス、公園などのために手がけたものです。
