Serrendip is an online art and sports school for kids based on education method found in the Netherlands. "Thinking" is the most important focus for this school. Students set their own goals and manage own practice menu. List of coaches with expertise in their relevant field are carefully selected. Through series of close interaction and discussion, coaches advice is not limited to technical guidance only. Students are encouraged to acquire power to think independently. Additionally, this offers a chance to meet with inspirational experts through life-changing serendipity.
In the Netherlands, children are treated with respect for their independent thoughts. The color orange is used through out to make visual connection to the Netherlands. Its brightness also provides uplifting and energetic feeling associated with inspiration, at the same time the web design is gently restrained to avoid appearing too childish. In addition, simple illustrations are included at key points to facilitate easy understanding.
