CONCEPT
This logo is for a poke restaurant in Texas named Pono Poke.
The Hawaiian word pono (pronounced "poh-noh") is a complex term that can be translated as "righteousness." It embodies a deeper meaning that refers to a state of balance and harmony with oneself, others, and the world.
The restaurant aim is to reflect the balance of rice, fish, sauce, and toppings in our dishes.
To visually represent this balance, I have incorporated four icons symbolizing Hawaiian culture into the design.
The logo design goal is to create a friendly atmosphere where the warmth of Hawaiian people and culture is conveyed to customers.
