CONCEPT
This mural festival, organized by ‘You are not alone mural,’ visually expresses the moment when I felt that ‘You are not alone.’ The Japanese translation, ‘大丈夫。私も、君も、一人じゃない。’ (It’s okay. Neither you nor I are alone.), conveys this message.
The exchange of letters conveys the message that we are not alone in this together. Inspired by Japanese postcards. To ensure that even non-Japanese speakers can recognize the Japanese theme, I included stamp illustrations and background patterns reminiscent of Japan. Despite the short timeframe of just two days, I prepared various templates to bring this meaningful mural to life.

The 2024 Seaport Mural Fest in NYC! This year's festival brought together a diverse group of talented artists new to the project to create a series of inspiring murals. Over the course of 2 days in April these 11 artists worked side by side, each one creating a unique interpretation of the "You Are Not Alone" message in a variety of languages.
