CONCEPT
I made a pattern with icons related to important activities for healthy lifestyle. The depicted icons are exercise, study, time, food, mental, and communication. The chosen color comes from the client’s brand. The painting process began with an important preparatory step of sanding down the rusted parts of the metal shutter. Rust converter was applied and sat overnight. Afterwards, I applied primer and blue background color. The icon patterns and text were cut out from chip board, which became a stencil for spray paint application. Finally, I used detail brush to sharpen and adjust each icon and text.
