CONCEPT
Windows:
The interior of the building is obscured by the gate. To reveal what’s inside, I’ve incorporated three windows into the design.
Each window has a unique shape, symbolizing different cultures or races (e.g., Latino, Asian, Arabic, etc.).
Shapes and Their Meanings:
The square, triangle, and circle represent the process of achieving peace and harmony:
The square, with its four corners, signifies division or separation.
The triangle, having three corners, represents a reduction in division.
The circle symbolizes complete integration and mutual understanding, leading to peace. This progression also reflects the evolution of Sunset Park into a diverse community where everyone lives together harmoniously.
Color Scheme:
I’ve used dark colors for the exterior of the shapes and bright, positive colors for the interior to create a high contrast and emphasize the cheerful vibe inside. Yellow and orange evoke positive energy and the sun, while blue-green represents peace and the natural greenery of Sunset Park.
Background Image:
The background features a large image, signifying that despite our different appearances or shapes, we are all interconnected and share a common desire for safety and peace.
